CHG = Changed since the previous release
ADD = Addition to the current release
FIX = Bugfix
┌──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┐
│ Changes in version 2.99.41 │
└──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
FIX: The SETUP command-line option now works with the Linux and
DOS versions too.
CHG: Linux: the pull-down menu can be invoked with the CTRL-M
key sequence. On properly configured systems, should still
work with the ESC key.
CHG: Linux: the shortcut keys are working with the SHIFT- key
and the ALT- key. For example, to exit Lora you can either
press ALT-X or SHIT-X whichever works with your
configuration.
FIX: Removed the expiration date from the utility programs.
ADD: The route tag commands. In the event scheduler you can now
specify a tag and the process of the route.cfg file will be
limited to that tag only.
ADD: The 'Tag xxx' keyword in the routing file.
ADD: The import of an areas.bbs file from the pull-down menus.
ADD: The 'Poll <flag> <nodes>' keyword to the commands for the
routing file. This command simply creates a poll file (file
attach without files) for the given nodes.
FIX: Fixed a small drawing problem in the fullscreen editor.
FIX: Fixed two bugs in the Internet E-Mail processor that
prevented mail from being sent to an SMTP server and
prevented the mail retrived from a POP3 server from being
correctly deleted.
┌──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┐
│ Changes in version 2.99.40 │
└──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
CHG: This version has no expiration date. The shareware
version is only limiting the number of modem lines to 2.
FIX: Replying to personal e-mail messages caused the reply to
the wrong message and an error when reading the next
message.
FIX: With the DOS and Linux versions is now possible to create
new menu files. When asked for a filename if the field is
left blank you can pick an existing file, or you can enter
the filename to be edited or created.
┌──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┐
│ Changes in version 2.99.39 │
└──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
CHG: The Linux version has no more shared libraries. All needed
libraries are now linked directly into the executables. I
hope that this will solve most of the installation problems
reported with the Linux version.
┌──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┐
│ Changes in version 2.99.38 │
└──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
ADD: The e-mail editor now ask the user for the private flag in
the new or reply messages.

ADD: The Configure->Modem->Nodelist flags configuration dialog
is now working. With this dialog you can define specific
dialing commands based on the nodelist flags, and enable or
disable certain lines to call nodes with specified nodelist
flags. For example you can define your analog lines to not
call IDSN nodes and enable your IDSN lines to call only
ISDN nodes.
CHG: The sequence for the remote terminal detection was changed
to avoid possible problems with other mailers. Now the EMSI
and IEMSI IDs are sent before any other terminal trigger.
FIX: The gender question is back.
FIX: OS/2: The status line in the local snoop screen now should
always display the user's data.
FIX: Bug that prevented the update of the user record for the
new users.
